Momentum - Lo nuevo de Jamie Cullum

Después de la edición de The Pursuit (2009) y de la gira mundial de promoción, Jamie Cullum se dedicó por completo a su programa de jazz en la BBC Radio2, dejándonos expectantes por nuevo material.

Por suerte, el 2013 nos trajo novedades. Ya para el día de San Valentín, pudimos escuchar lo que es el primer corte del nuevo disco de Jamie, "Love for $ale", una canción poco romántica, pero fiel al estilo Cullum.

Hoy, sabemos de Momentum saldrá a la venta el 20 de Mayo. Ya pueden ordenarse sus dos versiones, Regular y Deluxe -edición especial que tendrá contenido extra perteneciente al show que Jamie grabó en los Abbey Road Studios-.

Mientras se espera por el video oficial, disfruten del segundo corte del disco, "Everything You Didn't Do". Enjoy!

Power Trío: Canciones para mover el moño.

Hoy, como todas las mañanas, puse play en mi celular para musicalizar el viaje hacia la oficina. Lo bueno de trabajar cerca de casa es que cada día escucho una combinación diferente de canciones que tiene la duración exacta como para terminar de despertarme y setear mi humor para el resto del día.

Hoy, no fue la excepción, aunque sí tuvo algo de diferente. Desde el momento en que puse play, el random fue intenso, bien rocker. Ideal para el humor pre-viernes. Diría que fue hasta "pensado" por el pequeño DJ que vive en el celular y sonoriza mis días. Sí, mi viaje fue corto. Pero qué excelente viaje! :)

Después de su exitoso "Colour if the trap" y su single "First of my kind", el abanderado mod del nuevo milenio nos trae un adelanto de lo que será su próximo disco.

Disco nuevo que, por cierto, aún no tiene título ni fecha de edición. Sólo se sabe que saldrá en algún momento del 2013.
